However, according to a report by ESPN Cricinfo, A source
very close to the player revealed that Raud had ever committed to play test matches
in Australia and confirmed his non-availability the previous night. He told Wahab
that he hadn’t played much red ball cricket in the build up, and wanted to work
his white ball game as well as his fitness.
Although Rauf hasn’t said word publicly about the matter but
the rising tension between player and selector can cause troubles for him as
his commitment in the upcoming Big Bash League as the 30 years old would
require a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the PCB to participate.
