Imad Wasim joined Islamabad United, Hassan Ali joined Karachi Kings.




 

The Pakistan Super League saw one of the biggest trades in it’s history as Karachi King’s skipper Imad Wasim joined Islamabad United while Hassan Ali has joined the 2020 PSL winners, confirmed the league on Wednesday.

‘‘HBL PSL 5 winning captain Imad Wasim will don Islamabad United colours in the ninth edition of the tournament. Imad who was named as the All rounder of HBL PSL 8, has been snapped by Islamabad United in the platinum category,’’ the PCB said in a brief press release.

‘‘Hassan Ali (Diamond category) moves to Karachi Kings. By virtue of this player trade, Karachi Kings has received Islamabad United first round silver pick in exchange of their second round silver pick,’’ it added.

Imad Wasim has been with the Karachi Kings since the first season, left the team to join the 2016 and 2018 PSL winners.
Imad was player of the tournament of PSL 8 with 404 runs and nine wickets in 10 matches.

On the other hand, Islamabad United also shared their good wishes to Hassan Ali, who made his debut for the team in PSL 7.
