Imad Wasim announced retirement from international cricket

Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim has announced his retirement from International Cricket.

In his statement on social platforms, the 34 year old stressed that it is the right time to end his International career.

Meanwhile, Imad wished success for the new captains and coaches of the side while he concluded that by mentioning that he is now focused in playing cricket away from the international stage.

In 55 ODI matches he batted in 40 innings and scored 986 runs with average of 42.86 and strike rate of 110.29 highest score is 63*, also he took 44 wickets in this format with the impressive economy of 4.88 the best bowling figure is 5/14.


In 66 T20Is matches he get the chance to feature in 44 innings and scored 486 runs with the highest of 64* with the strike rate of 131.70 and he also took 65 wickets with the best bowling figures of 5/14 and economy of 6.26 which is brilliant in the format.

It must be noted that Imad recently decided to skip the ongoing National T2o cup in Karachi after being named in the Islamabad squad.

The all-rounder plans to play Abu Dhabi T10 league which is slated to start on November 28. He is part of the Deccan Gladiators squad.
